
Fear is a Lie
Fear is a lie and unlike other emotions it does not come from God. When God created humans, He created us in His image (Genesis 1:27). No where in scripture do we see fear as a part of God’s character/image.

What Toddlers Taught me About Hiking and Self-Care
Our kiddos can teach us so much if we slow down and allow them to. When we let go of the need to control the situation or the outcome we become open to possibilities of childlike wonder, breaking out in song-just because, and noticing God’s creation in such a beautiful way.

Super Woman
Somewhere and at some point, it became standard operating procedure for women to put others before herself.

Encourage Yourself
I could have chosen to sit there in self-pity and allow those negative thoughts to consume me and ruin my day, but I made a choice to tap into my resources, my recovery tool box and defeat the lies that would hold me in bondage and tell me I am not good enough.

Intentional Self-Care
If we are as intentional about being healthy, safe, and relational as a mother is about protecting her baby we can really learn to be present with and love ourselves and others at such a deeper more intimate level.

I'm A Mess & So Are You
There is something so freeing about admitting we are not perfect and that in fact we are broken or as I like to say a mess. Life gets messy for all of us at times.
